Bringing the Heart & Soul to Grace Care Center
Heart and Soul Free Clinic helps at the summer Community Fair.
Here at Grace Care Center, we believe in going beyond food to serve the entire person, helping each Care Center Friend along the path to sustainability.
That’s why we partner with Heart & Soul Free Clinic to provide free healthcare to Care Center Friends!
Once a month, Heart & Soul Clinic’s mobile unit visits Grace Care Center to provide preventative medical services and education. Each summer, they also join us at our Community Fair to offer sports physicals.
Heart & Soul’s mission is “to provide highest quality healthcare to our uninsured and underinsured neighbors in Central Indiana regardless of their social, cultural, and economic status.”
We are proud to team up with Heart & Soul to accomplish this mission and enhance healthcare accessibility in Hamilton County, while furthering our own mission to give hope, dignity, and sustainable care to our neighbors in need.
“While Grace Care Center provides nutritious food options, English classes, financial coaching, vehicle assistance, and more, there was one service we were missing - healthcare,” says Cara Augspurger, executive director of the Grace Care Center Foundation. “This partnership with Heart & Soul really allows us to offer holistic care to families and individuals living right here in our community.”
