Super Dad Rico Sets a Great Example for His Family

I bumped into Rico at Grace Care Center Monday night and he inspired me — especially during this week of Father’s Day. I think he might inspire you, too.

Rico is a dedicated father of five boys and made a big impact at Grace Kids Camp this week by leading his youngest son's small group. He’s deeply committed to taking care of his family and setting a good example for his sons.

Fatherhood is deeply rewarding for Rico. He enjoys each stage with his sons, watching them grow from boys to men. His oldest sons have just graduated from Fishers High School, marking a significant milestone in their lives and his journey as a father.

Raised by a single mother and grandmother, Rico takes his role as a father very seriously. He learns from watching role models and admits to learning on the go. His advice to other parents is to work on patience, understanding that it takes time to develop. Becoming a dad at 19, Rico has grown a lot over the years, especially in learning selflessness and prioritizing his kids.

By spending his week guiding and supporting the kids at Grace Kids Camp, Rico is not only creating special memories with his son but he’s also positively influencing the lives of many young campers and setting a great example for his family.

When you give to support Grace Care Center through the Foundation YOU make a difference to families like Rico's.
