Northview Church Stocks the Shelves at the Choice Food Pantry

Northview Church recently blessed the Grace Care Center Foundation with an incredible gift that will make an immense impact on the lives of many living right here in Central Indiana.

Through their Dollar Club, Northview raised $5,000 to benefit the Grace Care Center.

Thanks to our purchasing power through our partnerships with area stores, food banks, and distributors, we will be able to stretch this gift to equal approximately $74,000 worth of food and goods. That’s enough to fill the shelves of our Choice Food Pantry for nearly two and a half weeks!

On these shelves, Grace Care Center Friends are able to find everything they need. This includes fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and dairy products, shelf staples, household items, and so much more. Each Friend receives the dignifying experience of being able to choose the groceries that best fit their family’s lifestyle, cultural, and dietary preferences.

We are grateful for this blessing provided by Northview Church and all those who gave through the Dollar Club.

As Nick Pease, Associate Pastor - Care Center, says, “This is not just a Grace Church thing. This can’t be just a Grace Church thing. It has to be all of us working together. So, truly, thank you.”

Thank you, Northview Church! Your generous partnership makes it possible for us to continue serving Central Indiana families experiencing food insecurity.

In addition to the Choice Food Pantry, Grace Care Center operates several services and programs, including the Thrift Store, Mobile Food Pantry, Co-Op Program, English Classes, and Vehicle Services. Through these offerings, Grace Care Center serves hundreds of individuals and families in Hamilton County and northern Marion County.
